1. Who this policy covers

Old Berry Games is operated by UNC CONCEPTS INC, based in Ontario, Canada (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This policy draft covers our website and the planned launch of Forest Friends. Other games will have additional disclosures where their features or data practices differ.

For privacy questions or requests, email help@oldberrygames.com.

The planned launch services are Google AdMob advertising, Apple’s built-in analytics and crash reports, and Apple Game Center. This draft describes the planned release; individual integrations must be checked against the final app.

2. When you visit this website

The current website does not contain an account system, mailing-list form, contact form, advertising tags or analytics scripts. Fonts and artwork are served with the website rather than loaded from a third-party font service.

When you choose Pause Motion or Resume Motion, the website saves that preference in your browser’s local storage under old-berry-motion. The preference is used only to control animation and is not sent to us by the website’s code. It stays on your device until you change it, clear this site’s browser data, or your browser removes it. Browsing still works if this storage is blocked.

Hosting disclosure to confirm: Vercel is the planned website host. Once deployed, serving and protecting the site can involve technical request data, including IP addresses and device/browser information. Confirm the actual hosting, logging, analytics and retention settings before publication. Vercel’s own privacy notice provides further information; it does not replace this policy.

3. Forest Friends and saved progress

Forest Friends stores game progress and settings on your device so you can continue playing between sessions. Local records can include level progress, the current board, rewards and preferences. Removing local app data can remove this progress.

Game Center, advertising and diagnostic services process information separately, as described below. Game Center sign-in does not by itself mean that your saved board or all progress is synchronized across devices.

Release check: Confirm the app’s actual deletion and backup behavior, and whether any cloud-save feature is enabled. Device backups or provider-held records may remain after local app data is removed.

4. Advertising and third-party services

We plan to use Google AdMob to display advertising in Forest Friends. The Mobile Ads SDK can process your IP address and approximate location derived from it, device or app identifiers, ad views and interactions, crash information and performance data. Uses include delivering ads, measuring advertising, and diagnosing or improving the advertising service.

Which information is processed and whether ads are personalized depend on the final configuration, your region, your consent choices and device permissions. Where consent or iOS tracking permission is required, the appropriate choice must be presented before the relevant processing. Refusing tracking permission does not necessarily stop all advertising-related processing.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s iOS SDK disclosure.

Release check: Confirm ad formats, any mediation partners, and the exact in-game path for revisiting ad consent. Align these details with the final App Store privacy disclosures.

5. Analytics and crash reporting

We plan to use Apple’s built-in analytics and crash reports to understand app usage, investigate crashes and improve Forest Friends. Reports can include device and operating-system information, app version, usage statistics, performance measurements and technical crash details, depending on the report Apple provides.

Apple makes usage and diagnostic information available subject to its reporting rules and your sharing choices. You can review analytics sharing on your iPhone under Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements, including sharing with app developers where available. Apple may also provide aggregate App Store statistics.

See Device Analytics & Privacy and Apple’s Privacy Policy. The planned analytics setup does not include a separate Firebase, Crashlytics or Sentry integration. AdMob may process its own diagnostic and advertising information, as explained above.

6. Apple Game Center

We plan to integrate Apple Game Center. When you use enabled Game Center features, Apple processes information under its own terms and privacy practices. Depending on the features implemented, our game can receive a scoped player identifier and profile information such as a nickname or avatar, and can send scores or achievement progress to Apple.

Information associated with leaderboards, achievements or a Game Center profile may be visible to other players according to the feature and your Apple settings. You can review Game Center settings and sign-in choices on your Apple device. See Game Center & Privacy.

Release check: Confirm the Game Center features and data actually used. Friends-list access, multiplayer and cloud saves are not assumed in this draft.

7. When you contact us

If you contact help@oldberrygames.com, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include, such as device details or screenshots. We use this information to respond, troubleshoot the issue and maintain the related support record. Please do not send passwords, payment details or unrelated sensitive information.

Support information is intended to be accessible only to people and service providers handling the request, operating the mailbox or meeting applicable legal obligations.

Retention detail to confirm: Identify the email provider and adopt a support-record retention period or criteria reflecting the issue, any ongoing dispute and applicable recordkeeping duties.

8. Sharing, retention and security

Website preference data stays in local storage as described above. Game saves remain on the device to support continued play, subject to the device and backup settings. Hosting, advertising, Game Center, analytics and support services may process information to provide their respective functions.

We may also need to disclose information to comply with a binding legal obligation, protect the service against abuse, or address a legal claim, where permitted by law. A provider’s access should be limited to the applicable service and arrangements.

Retention should be limited to what is needed for the stated purpose and applicable legal obligations. We intend to use appropriate access restrictions and other reasonable safeguards; no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.

Before publication: Complete provider retention settings, international processing locations and safeguards, the relevant legal grounds where required, and whether ad practices constitute “sale,” “sharing” or targeted advertising under applicable law. These cannot be settled from the presence of an SDK alone.

9. Your choices and privacy requests

You can clear the website’s animation preference through your browser’s site-data settings. You can review tracking permissions and Game Center settings on your iPhone. Apple analytics choices are described above. The final in-game path for ad-consent controls must also be documented once configured.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain uses; or withdraw consent. These rights can be subject to legal exceptions. You may also have the right to complain to a privacy regulator.

Send requests to help@oldberrygames.com with the subject “Privacy request.” Describe the request and identify the relevant game or interaction. We may need reasonable information to verify identity. We cannot directly remove information that Apple or another provider independently controls, but can explain the appropriate route.

Deleting information or withdrawing permission can affect features that depend on it. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before withdrawal.

10. Children and age suitability

The intended age audience and release regions for Forest Friends still need to be confirmed. We have not assumed a minimum age or that the game qualifies for Apple’s Kids Category.

If you are a parent or guardian concerned about a child’s information, contact help@oldberrygames.com. We will assess the concern and take appropriate steps under applicable law.

Before publication: Finalize the audience, parental-consent approach where required, and child-directed advertising and analytics restrictions. The final policy and SDK settings must reflect those decisions.

11. Updates and contact

We will update this policy when our practices change and identify its effective date once finalized. Material changes will be communicated as required by applicable law.
